Two people have informed me that I was in a dream of theirs last night.
No wonder I woke up tired.

Subject: Immediate Prayer Request
This afternoon, Barry Nicholson’s (QuizMachine guy) wife (Arlette) and daughter (Joss) were involved in a car accident. Arlette has been released from the hospital but Joss has a collapsed lung and perhaps some liver damage and has been transported to a Chicago [...]

I spent a lot of money today on software and equipment. It was an investment, but it was still kind of sickening to spend that much. I got a pretty much amazing student price on the software—Logic Pro 7—and a really good deal on the reference monitors, a pair of Alesis M1Active 620s.
When one spends [...]

I just found a pair of cargo pants that still fits me. Or fits me again. Either way, they are about to become an inanimate sacrifice, e.g. work pants for a mission trip. So they probably won’t become reincorporated into my regular wardrobe.
I saw a firefox at the zoo. And llamas.
I’m really dumb sometimes.

This is not my best day ever
June 28th, 2007 · 13 Comments
So, it’s been one of the days where you tell someone what’s happened so far, and their response is something along the lines of, “Well, at least you didn’t fall victim to spontaneous human combustion. Comparatively speaking, what did happen really wasn’t that bad.” I know they’re right. I didn’t fall victim to spontaneous human [...]

I did indeed drive them to the [...]

If that lady really wanted to fix the situation, she wouldn’t have brought her daughter to Dr. Phil. Public TV is not a good place to work out personal problems.
If you want to exploit those who are close to you in order to gain public attention, then go on Dr. Phil. If you want to [...]

More disappointment.
“I’m sorry to say, you didn’t get the position. Maybe we’ll hear you in a Christian rock band someday. You have a lot of potential.”
How long? I’m waiting. Just like I have been.
“I got so much potential
But you don’t give a… about potential
Yeah, the future’s inconsequential…”
And what’s this about a Christian rock band? I [...]

Daisies
April 6th, 2007 · 4 Comments
I’m no gardener. If I touch any plant more delicate than a maple tree, it will probably die. But my sister sent me some daisies on Monday. Okay, so that’s not exactly gardening. They’ll die soon, I guess. They’re nice right now. I didn’t know that daisies could be so colorful. They just keep smiling.
